You will receive assistance with all WCA claims via internal HealthMan channels. There is an additional fee for service based on the value of the total claim.

1. Medical malpractice and professional indemnity insurance at competitive premiums in which the VAT portion of the premium is reclaimable from the Receiver of Revenue.
2. Retro-active cover (conditions apply)
3. 3 years free run-off cover subject to death, retirement and ceasing to practice

5. Leading law firms to assist with litigation
6. Cover for employees within the professional’s employment
7. Contractually guaranteed limits of Indemnity offered depending on your personalized risk
8. An option is available to pay premiums in monthly instalments
9. Handling of complaints/provision of legal representation at HPCSA inquiries
10. Includes Public Liability and Product Liability (defence costs in respect of CPA)
11. Advice in respect of practice management: e.g. billing, consent, practice structures, access to information, medical scheme queries etc.
12. Legal costs and a guaranteed amount of money in the event of a claim for damages arising out of medical malpractice.    
13. Criminal defence costs in the event of a criminal charge being laid against you
14. Damages arising out of defamatory statements made in good faith (i.e. not intentional defamation - something said purely with the intention of damaging another’s reputation)
