Absa Merchant
Services has teamed up with Autopage Cellular, who is
currently the largest independent cellphone service
provider in South Africa, representing MTN, Vodacom,
Cell C and Telkom Networks. This joint venture between
Absa Merchant Services and Autopage Cellular will enable
Absa merchants to benefit from the electronic dispensing
of pre-paid cellular airtime. Due to the pre-paid cellular
airtime revolution in South Africa, both Absa and Autopage
Cellular realised that this joint initiative between
the two organisations will be of great benefit to merchants
because it will replace paper recharge vouchers with
electronic vouchers. The product offering will enable
merchants to dispense pre-paid airtime vouchers by means
of an Absa EFT POS Terminal. The terminals will be able
to accept the following means of payment:
- Credit Card
- Debit Card
- Cheque
- Cash
- General Conditions:
- Merchant will be subject to ABSA Merchant Services
approval policy.

and will be reviewed annually.

& VISA) rules as they are implemented or revised,

notice.
